Just Reduced: Reese Witherspoon's Ojai California Ranch

You would think celebrities would have an easy time selling their posh mansions but it looks like they suffer from the same market conditions as us regular folks due.  

Having originally listed her Ojai, CA Ranch for sale for $10 million last September the house has now been reduced by $2.75 million to $7.25 million. 

The house known as Libbey Ranch is absolutely stunning.  It was orginially a barn built by famed architect Wallace Neff that was purchased and renovated by famed (and one of my favorites) interior designer Kathryn Ireland before Reese Witherspoon became it's owner.

The house is 5000sq ft and boasts 9 bedrooms, 7 baths, and 7 acres of land with a horse farm.

For Sale: Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos' NYC Penthouse

Who: Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos

List Price: $24.5 million

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have listed their Soho penthouse for sale for a nice price of $24.5 million.  The couple purchased the home in 2005 for $9.5 million and undertook a 2 year renovation to bring it up to the luxury home that it is today. 
The penthouse is 6,792 square feet and boasts 5 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, two kitchens, two fireplaces, and a 2,500 square foot roof top terrace.  
 No word yet on where the Consuelos family is moving to.

How the Other Half Live: Giuliana and Bill's LA Home

Ever since Giuliana and Bill welcomed little baby Duke Edward Rancic into the world I have been dying to see what their new LA house looked like. Even though we got to see pieces on the TV show I was so happy to see that  Style Network came to the rescue with a photo tour. 

 It was designed by Lonni Paul and is absolutely gorgeous and so well done.  I don't know about you but I could move right in!

I cannot find information on the sales price so if anyone knows please let me know.

How the Other Half Live: Beyonce and Jay-z's August Rental in the Hamptons

Rumor has it that hip-hop King and Queen and their little Princess Blue Ivy have coughed up a pretty penny for the month of August to rent an exclusive home in Hamptons.   The 31,000 sq foot home that they are renting is called the Sandcastle and was built by Joe Farrell, a Hamptons developer in 2005.   The home was originally listed for $59.5 million when it was built but has been dropped to the current price of $43.5 million. 
Apparently B and J got quite a deal with this rental as they are only paying $400,000 for the whole month of August when last year it was rented to  Cheryl Mercuris, a 40-something divorcée from Tampa with a direct marketing fortune for $500,000 for 2 weeks. 

Sandcastle is about 1.5 miles from the beaches and encompasses 11.5 acres.
