Are you ready for the Holidays this year? Looking for some easy ways to spice up your decor this season that won't cost a lot of money or take a lot of time- then check out these easy 5 options below.
1. Simple Ornament Display
- Place vintage or extra ornaments on a cake stand with some magnolia leaves or fill an unused vase or apothecary jar with ornaments for a simple stunning centerpiece or mantle display
Supplies needed: ornaments, cake stand, vase or apothecary jar, and decorative leaves
2. Hanging Card Display
Do you ever wonder what to do with all the holiday cards you receive? Why not display them in a fun way!
Try stringing a piece of twine or colorful string across a window or wall. Then use plain clothes pins or coloful clothes pins to secure your christmas cards on the string.
Supplies needed: twine or colorful string, clothes pins, wall hooks, and christmas cards
3. Pine cone wreath
Any extra pine cones laying around your bakcyard? Why not make a wreath. If your feeling even more creative you could spray paint the pine cones red, green, gold, silver- the options are endless.
Supplies needed: pine cones, wreath ring (from Michael's or Hobby Lobby), hot glue gun, spray paint optional
4. Wrapping Paper Art Work
Do you always wonder what to do with those scraps of wraping paper? Why not frame it to add some holiday decor to your walls! You could easily swap out some pictures from your gallery wall to add a little holiday cheer.
Supplies needed: wraping paper, frame
5. Ornament Shadow Box
Another fun trick for extra ornaments and to add more sparkle to your walls! I love the green, white, and brown that was used but I would probably add a fun print scrapbook paper to the back to add more dimension and texture.
Supplies needed: Shadow box (you can find cheap ones at Hobby Lobby or Ikea), ornaments, decorative or plain scrapbook paper, glue gun
